The No Name Collective

Released
2019

The No Name Collective is a theater collective founded in 2017 by NYU Tisch and RADA classmates Maggie Hood and Annaliese Kirby paying homage to the great William Shakespeare and his contemporaries by focusing our performances on cuts of classical texts. We are a tight-knit group of passionate artists coming together to create art through the performance of these texts, a collaboration in its truest sense – working together to truthfully tell stories that resonate as much today as ever. Our name is meaningless, as Romeo’s was to Juliet; rather to be known by the caliber of our work and the collaborative nature of the group, which by any other name would be as sweet. Based in New York City, the troupe is female led, maintaining 90% female creative and production teams on every show, and fiscally-sponsored via Fractured Atlas.
